Parents visit scene of Salford killing

January 28, 2012 No Comments

The parents of an Indian student, Anuj Bidve, who was shot dead in Salford on Boxing Day, have expressed their grief after visiting the scene of what has been described as a “senseless act of violence”. The police have arrested various suspects but at the time of writing nobody has been charged. The reason for the killing remains unclear although it appears to have been racially motivated.

Anul’s father Subhash Bidve and mother Yogini travelled from India to appeal for help in catching the killers. They also visited the spot where he was shot, calling it an “exceedingly difficult visit to make”.
