SONY DSCCelebrities flocked to award-winning Epsom restaurant, Le Raj, to celebrate its success in raising more than £5,000 for a kidney cancer charity. Eamonn Holmes, Shane Richie and Tony Tobin joined a special event to mark the restaurant’s achievements on behalf of the James Whale Fund, the UK’s leading specialist charity which focuses on kidney cancer. Radio presenter James Whale, who has suffered from the disease, was also there to mark the occasion.

Money raised by Le Raj through a series of events will be used by the Fund to provide comfort and support to people living with the cancer and their families. Jeffrey Ali, co-owner of Le Raj, said: “We have been supporting a number of charity organisations since we have been established with the help of our customers and celebrities and altogether we have raised over a million pounds.”
