The clock is ticking to the ninth annual British Curry Awards, which will take place on Monday 25th November at The Battersea Evolution in London. This year will be bigger and better than ever with a new theme promised and a spectacular show being developed by director and producer, Justine Ali. Details are being kept a secret but Justine says, “This year we are pulling out all the stops. It is something you will not want to miss.”

Already lots of celebrities from the worlds of TV, music and film have accepted an invitation to attend, and many MPs, including senior ministers and business leaders are lined up as well. There may also be a very special guest as the keynote speaker. Watch this space!

Nominations are flooding in. While the BCA team is still counting based on what has come in so far it looks like it will be another record for entries this year. Founder, Enam Ali, says, “There is a lot of interest in this year’s event. Nominations are at a high level and tickets are selling fast. If you want to make sure of a table for this year I would urge you to book soon to avoid disappointment.” Further information, including how to book a table, can be found on:
